How Amazing!
i personally like this picture a lot, because it reminds me of:
(1) how small and insignificant humans are compared to the whole earth. yet we think that we can eat, buy, say, or do anything we want. we think that we’re the best and that we can control everything around us. but no… look at this picture. look how tiny that person looks compared to that rock! what we don’t know is that we are actually POWERLESS. we can’t control anything. we are tiny. we are NOTHING. insignificant. But God didn’t think so. He thought we were worth it. He loves us so much that He sent His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us human beings. How amazing is He!
(2) how beautiful this earth is. we live on such a beautiful.. planet. look at those trees, look at that rock. look at that person! you know what’s even more crazy? none of the trees has the same height, none of the rocks is shaped the same, and none of us has the same face, personality, height, mind, or whatever it is. everything and everyone is made differently and uniquely. and they’re all God’s creations. How amazing is He!
anyway, i can’t believe it’s week 2 already, and i already have so much to do… what’s amazing is that even though i have more work to do this week than i did for last quarter’s finals week & i am physically… soooo tired right now, i’m excited. i’m excited to learn more about vector mechanics, solid mechanics, matlab….etc. (i know i sound super nerdy right now but it’s true) what can i say.. other than “GOD IS AMAZING!”
